| THE WORD ONCE SPOKEN |
| When once the Lord speaks forth His Word And you have heard it clear Beware of any other voice That beckons in your ear His Word will be confirmed to you In ways that may astound For when you stand in steadfast faith You stand on solid ground Though adverse winds of circumstance May strike you in the face And every new event conspires To shift you from your place Cast not away your confidence The Word of God is true The One who watches over it Is watching over you The vision soon will come to pass Before the eyes of all For everything that He decrees Will stand and never fall There is no power strong enough To thwart in any way The passage of His perfect will Once God has had His say © Duane W.
